PDF is the standard format for sharing documents professionally. Converting Word to PDF ensures your formatting stays consistent across all devices, platforms, and operating systems.
Business: Convert reports, proposals, and contracts to professional PDF format.
Academic: Submit assignments and research papers in universally accepted PDF format.
Personal: Share resumes, cover letters, and portfolios professionally formatted.
Unlike online converters that upload your documents to servers, TooliFyra processes everything locally. Your sensitive Word documents stay private, secure, and free — no sign-ups required.
The converter rebuilds your Word document as a real PDF with selectable text. It keeps headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, bullet and numbered lists, tables and images, and lets you choose A4, Letter or Legal page size.
A few things are simplified: custom fonts are replaced with a clean standard font, and colours, text boxes, columns, headers and footers and exact page breaks may differ from Word. Hindi and other non-Latin scripts are not supported by the built-in font yet — for those documents, and for designed layouts such as a final resume, use “Save as PDF” in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. You can then shrink or combine the result with our PDF compressor or PDF merger.
Older .doc files (Word 97–2003) are not supported — re-save them as .docx first.
Yes, the main formatting is kept: headings, bold and italic text, lists, tables and images. Custom fonts, colours and exact page layout are simplified.
Only .docx files are supported. The older .doc format is not compatible with mammoth.js extraction.
No, the only limit is your device's available memory. Process files of any size locally.
