    How to Convert HEIC to JPG

    Stop Your iPhone Saving HEIC

    If you want new photos in JPG straight away, open Settings → Camera → Formats on your iPhone and choose Most Compatible. Photos you have already taken stay in HEIC, and you can convert them here. When you share photos from an iPhone by email or AirDrop to a non-Apple device, iOS often converts them automatically, but files copied with a cable or from iCloud usually stay as HEIC.
